Convening the Power of Ideas
The David Rubenstein Forum at the University of Chicago is a striking new facility designed to convene scholars, researchers, and dignitaries from around the world for intellectual engagement and the pursuit of knowledge and understanding. The Forum fulfills the need for a university and city-wide resource in which to convene meetings, conferences, and discussions, and it is open to all. The Forum is consistent with the best of UChicago, celebrating the power of ideas and bringing together great minds from across disciplines.
Elevating the Art
of Idea Exchange
The Forum is a physical expression of the University of Chicago’s academic character, and it was born from a collaborative process that included UChicago faculty, staff, administration, and board members.
The LEED Gold facility offers a bold alternative to traditional conference center meeting rooms. It is thoughtfully designed to host events that promote inquiry, the open exchange of ideas, and the power of convening.
Here, there is no need to coordinate with multiple vendors when planning a meeting or event. The Forum offers all the amenities for a successful gathering under one roof, including food and beverage, furnishings, and audio-visual equipment.
To make the process seamless and simple for patrons and their guests, a Meeting Concierge works with each client every step of the way, assisting with the planning and execution of all meetings and events. No detail is left undone.
Congregate, connect, and relax over creative food and beverage. Meeting Packages include continuous refreshment breaks and meal service in the flexible Dining area with expansive views of the Bosque Garden.
A dedicated A/V team is with you every step of the way, from technology orientations through closing ceremonies. The Forum combines user-friendly technology with concierge level service to provide the ideal setting for easy to manage meetings.
